Project Description
The 132/33 kV GIS Substation Project for Uttarakhand Power Transmission Corporation Ltd. (UPTCL) was executed by Technocrat Engineers, Ahmedabad, encompassing the comprehensive design and engineering development of a state-of-the-art Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substation.
The project scope included the architectural and structural design of the GIS building, equipment support structures, and foundation systems for major electrical components. Additionally, it covered a wide range of civil and infrastructure elements, including cable trenches and ducts, internal road networks, stormwater drainage systems, and site development works to ensure smooth operational efficiency and safety.
Emphasizing precision, safety, and reliability, the design adhered strictly to Indian and international electrical and structural design codes as well as UPTCL’s engineering standards.
