BGC Station 10 – Saudi Arabian Oil Company

Project Description

The BGC Station 10 Piperack and Pipebridge Project, executed by ANEWA Engineering for Saudi Aramco, involved the comprehensive structural analysis, detailed design, and 3D modeling of a 4.5 km long piperack and pipebridge system along with 10 associated buildings forming part of the station’s critical infrastructure.

The project scope included concept-to-construction-level engineering, covering design validation, load analysis, and 3D modeling in SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) for structural and piping systems. Detailed fabrication and construction drawings were extracted and prepared to ensure accuracy, constructability, and alignment with ARAMCO’s stringent engineering and safety standards.

Key deliverables comprised:

  • Complete 3D SP3D modeling for all piperacks, pipebridges, and building structures.

  • Design and analysis of support systems, foundations, and structural interfaces.

  • Preparation of general arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication details, and as-built documentation.

  • Coordination with multidisciplinary teams for clash detection, constructability review, and seamless integration with process and utility systems.

The project demonstrated engineering precision, high safety compliance, and efficient coordination to support ARAMCO’s mission of reliable hydrocarbon transport and operational excellence.
