ADNOC HVAC UPGRADE PROJECT
Project Description
The ADNOC HVAC Upgrade Project focused on ensuring the structural integrity and reliability of existing process infrastructure during the installation and enhancement of new Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems across ADNOC’s operational facilities in Abu Dhabi.
The project involved a detailed structural integrity assessment of the existing piperack and pipe bridge systems, along with the design and engineering of new pipe supports and structural modifications required to accommodate the upgraded HVAC systems and associated utilities.
Key engineering activities included:
Structural inspection and load capacity evaluation of existing piperacks and pipe bridges.
Design of new pipe support systems compatible with revised HVAC routing and load requirements.
Structural reinforcement and modification design to enhance integrity under new service conditions.
Preparation of design drawings, material take-offs, and construction documentation in compliance with ADNOC’s engineering standards and international codes (AISC, API, and ASME).
The project delivered a technically sound and safety-compliant design solution, ensuring the upgraded HVAC systems could be integrated efficiently without compromising the operational reliability and safety of ADNOC’s critical infrastructure.
